Reglas de Plantación
Luego de un año de estar periódicamente cubriendo el suelo con restos de podas, creemos que es el momento de plantar. Entre los análisis que hemos hecho del suelo, el clima, la geología, la vegetación, y en conjunto con conocer los deseos y las experiencias de las y los vecinos, hemos propuesto una serie de reglas que aglutinan el estudio académico y la experiencia de participación que ha tenido el Jardín en Huertos Familiares.
• Reglas Principales:
1. Plantar en los lugares donde hemos cubierto con restos de poda reducida.
2. Conformar cortavientos homogéneos desde donde llega el viento, generando espacios de cobijo y sombra deseados por la comunidad.
• Para lograr lo anterior, se establecen las plantas en dos categorías:
1. Plantas que pueden romper el viento (generalmente estas plantas tienen hojas pequeñas)
2. Plantas que necesitan cierta protección contra el viento pero pueden dar sombra (generalmente tienen hojas más grandes)
• Dentro de cada una de estas categorías, tenemos
1. plantas que pueden crecer mejor a la sombra del Espino (dibujadas en azul)
2. plantas que pueden prosperar con mucho sol (dibujadas en rojo)

After a year of periodically covering the ground with pruning waste, we believe it is time to plant. Between the analyses we have made of the soil, climate, geology, vegetation, and the wishes and experiences of the neighbours, we have proposed a series of rules that bring together the academic study and the experience of participation that the Garden has had in Family Gardens.
- Main Rules:
1. Plant in the places where we have covered with reduced pruning debris.
2. To form homogeneous windbreaks from where the wind arrives, generating spaces of shelter and shade desired by the community.
- To achieve the above, the plants are divided into two categories:
1. Plants that can break the wind (generally these plants have small leaves).
2. Plants that need some protection from the wind but can provide shade (generally these plants have larger leaves).
- Within each of these categories, we have
1. plants that can grow best in the shade of the Hawthorn (drawn in blue)
2. plants that can thrive in lots of sun (shown in red)
