Volvemos a Chipear!!
Esta es nuestra sexta jornada de chipeo en el jardín, la primera fue con un taller hacia la comunidad sobre la importancia de reducir restos de podas y de volver a integrarlos al suelo a modo de cobertura y materia orgánica.
La comuna de Tiltil ha experimentado una prolongada sequía, las precipitaciones en la región han disminuidos en los últimos 15 años y los periodos secos son cada vez más
extensos. Observando esta condición, se propone, como primera acción, cubrir el suelo con podas reducidas, que la misma comunidad va a dejar al terreno, evitando la
evaporación del agua e integrando mayor cantidad de materia orgánica. Esta tarea es continua en el tiempo, luego de obtener parches de suelo cubierto y con mayor
porcentaje de integración del chip, comenzaremos las jornadas de plantación. El sistema de plantaciones está determinado bajo unas reglas, directrices que hemos diseñado luego de una serie de encuentros con la comunidad de Huertos Familiares, integrando sus
deseos y anhelos para este nuevo lugar común.
